Joe Gill (the founder)

Born and raised in the South with an accent that may slip from time to time. The mashed up child of an actress and nuclear engineer, he can fix or rig anything with a mix of creativity and ingenuity to get it going again. Joe just returned from graduate school where he studied sustainable business and renewable energy. A traveler, writer, retired photographer, entrepreneur and story teller, he tries his best to avoid the "I'm the owner" branding. A skill he's gotten so good at that if you hadn't read this website, you'd think he was just another guest in the house.

Stephanie

Kayak champion. The nicest competitor you may ever meet. Steph came to Asheville from Tennessee where she worked for a variety of local causes.

Daniel

Daniel James grew up in the mountains of New Jersey (yes, they exist and actually meet up with the Appalachian Trail) and most recently escaped from a six year stint in the professed "Witch City" of Salem, MA. After harvesting seaweed on the Maine Coast and learning the secrets of the water and healing work from his mentor, he's  traveled down to Asheville looking to expand his skills at a local massage & yoga school. A few years ago he got wrapped up the story of a mad Tesla scientist which brought him to the area for the first time, and felt called to come back ever since.
